Forget the chill in your bones when walking outside. Don’t mind the slippery ice in the streets. You’re home now, wrapped in warmth with a hot cup of cocoa in hand. Maybe there’s even a hint of peppermint drifting through the air.

Another winter season is here, and with it comes a fresh batch of cozy games perfect for settling into your comfiest chair, next to your gaming set-up of choice. And perhaps a pet cuddling beside you.

Made for the coziest days of the year, especially for animal lovers.

Winter Burrow

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck, Switch 1/2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S)

Released just this November 2025, this beautifully rendered world evokes the warm, fuzzy feel of old storybook tales from early childhood.

In the icy wilderness, a mouse returns from the big city only to find their childhood burrow in disarray, and the aunt who was supposed to care for it mysteriously missing.

Learn to survive the cold, bake comforting pies, and befriend the woodland neighbors who may help you piece things back together.

It’s like a (short) hug from a long-forgotten memory, full of moving parts you can complete and revisit.

Easy Delivery Co.

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck, Switch 1/2, PS5, Xbox Series X/S); Mobile (Android, IOS)

Drive up through residential, snowy peaks to complete orders as a furry feline courier. Take it slow, listen to tunes while you’re at it. There’s no rush in this rural setting; you’re working less than minimum wage anyway.

Meditative enough as you’re doing menial tasks like Gunn, except it doesn’t have the horror twist. But there seems to be a slight strangeness to it, which the devs assure has no lore to it. If they say so, right?

A relaxing time can be had if you love driving through grey skies on icy roads. Or have a grand ole’ time and dart through willy-nilly across the dangerous curves, all up to you. Just deliver those packages. Nothing more to it.

ILA: A Frosty Glide

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck, Switch 1/2, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

A lost cat must be found. Again, a cat is lost.

In this colorful search for Coco, you will fly across a magical world as a witch-in-training. With your Skatebroom, you charge towards collectibles and complete challenges. As you do, you get better at your flying abilities, which in itself is a spectacle.

A recent release (October 2025), this enchanting story will have you searching high and low for secrets that could be hidden across the landscape. Most importantly, where could your cat be?

Catto’s Post Office

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck, Switch 1/2)

As a dedicated delivery Catto, your task is to deliver mail to its rightful owners.

In between that, you can also knock things over and do other such distractions that the town of Catberg has to offer, which isn’t a lot. But this is serious work to be had! And it’s all wrapped in candy-colored cuteness that will make you long for orange sunsets.

The town is vibrant and friendly. You can talk to your friends and make new ones. Also, you can meow on command, which is great because cat.

Squeakross: Home Squeak Home

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck, Switch 1/2)

A cozy puzzle that will turn into home furnishings for your cute rodent friend when answered correctly.

Hidden under blocks of yellow cheese, you must solve number-based puzzles with no set limit or pressure. There are plenty of options for assistance. But if you wish for more challenge, you can also turn this off. You can also customize your pet through the Rodent Editor.

What adorable items can be acquired? Well, many things a rodent lover wants for their pet are available here. There are hundreds of items, really.

Squeak, squeak, friend needs a new TV. (And it will be done.)

Camper Van: Make It Home

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck, Switch 1/2)

Your four-wheeled home is here, ready to be decorated, organized, and made your own. Your van becomes truly magical with themed objects that match each destination you visit.

The puzzle aspect comes from finding the perfect place for every item and discovering clever arrangements.

Travel through different locations and unpack your belongings with an animal companion of your choice: a cat, dog, or lizard. With their cute pair of eyes looking lovingly at you, life on the road never feels lonely.

Strange Antiquities

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck, Switch 1/2, PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

The town of Undermere makes a reappearance. Instead of working in a plant-based shop like in Strange Horticulture, this time you are a keeper for objects with mystical attributes. Both games still deal with the occult, and both have cats in them that you can pet!

This title is a cozy experience in an environment of magic and mystery. Through puzzles, you will deal with customers who have requests that… normal means cannot solve anymore.

Uncover secrets of this strange little town, with a brand new story. Just remember to pet the cat.

Tiny Book Shop

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck, Switch 1/2, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Across the seasons, in a beautiful seaside town, is a tiny book shop that’s bustling with the best recommendations for books.

The good news is that this task is all yours to claim. The best news is that there is a side quest for saving a stray, which you eventually come across while going about your work.

Adopting this furry companion is similar to interacting with the rest of the townsfolk. It takes some time to get to know them. And you have to make sure their needs are met, not just as a bookkeeper, but as a new friend.

Yes, this is the beauty of more third spaces in communities. That’s exactly how warmth is made even in colder times.

Gemporium: A Cute Mining Sim

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck)

Help your Grandmole (mole, but grandmother) with her business while she is on vacation. That is, to mine, refine, and sell. There’s a bit of a hitch involving a loan shark, which is an actual shark in a business suit.

But in Cozy Mode, things get much easier as you play at your own pace. Take all the time to polish the perfect shiny gem. Amethysts, rubies, and diamonds are among the gems you can dig up among the rubble.

The gameplay loop can get quite addictive, especially with the upgrades.

Kabuto Park

Available on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck)

Not animals but insects deserve some of the spotlight too!

Expand your collection of bugs and train them well while on vacation. This cozy nature-filled experience will take you to lakes, forests, and parks with the best bugs out here.

Based on real insects, these cuties will battle it out with other bug collectors, all in the name of winning the Summer Beetle Battles Championship.

This has a bright, summery look, similar to Catto’s Post Office. All to make you reminisce about the warmer seasons while it’s cold outside, maybe?

The winter season’s finest comforts are often the low-pressure, cozy experiences, especially when shared with a good friend. Furry, winged, scaled, or otherwise.
