To be released on PC (Windows, macOS); Consoles (Steam Deck)

If you like tower-defense games but want a unique flair, then you need to check out ReVamp. It’s from the same studio behind Moonlighter. So it’s guaranteed to be a polished game.

ReVamp is a tower-defense strategy roguelike where you play as– excuse the language– m*****f-ing Dracula! YEAH. The vamp, the myth, the legend himself.

The art style? Delicious. The voice acting? Scrumptious. The vibes? IMMACULATE. Even as someone who despises tower-defense games, I cannot deny that this has my attention. Hook, line, and sinker.

As Dracula, you defend and fortify your castle against mortals trying to take your throne. And it is your lair, so you can turn the actual castle into a weapon! I cannot stress how much I’m looking forward to this. It’s the first time I’ve looked forward to a strategy game. I’m also curious to see how they implement the roguelike aspect of this. Does Dracula die? I assume so. Maybe that’s why it’s called “ReVamp”; a play on you revamping the castle over and over again, but also Dracula repeatedly coming back. But is it actually death, or is it that they get close enough and Dracula’s like, “Haha, ok playtime’s over”? It would be interesting if you had to take your castle back if they do manage to kill you, though! Short-lived victories for the mortals.

So far, there’s no confirmed release date. The reveal trailer came out on the 16th of March, 2026, and it says it’s coming to Steam soon. Other than that, no clue. I’ve been keeping an eye on it since.

I’m looking forward to the angst aspect because, based on the trailer, it’s clear there’s a lost love and that Dracula is not happy about it. It’s giving Netflix’s Castlevania vibes. “The world will rue the day they took you from me” vibes, you know? I can’t wait to play a sad, sad man with big, fat issues and too much power in his hands.

There’s also the mystery of him having a master? Whomst? What? The moon?! (What does it mean?) Is he angry at mortals, or is he just stuck doing her (his master’s) bidding? Is she holding his lost love? I’m so intrigued. I cannot wait to find out!
